We couldn’t let Rice Krispies have all the fun, and my cornflakes fetish hasn’t gotten much play recently. We started with our rice krispy treat lace cookies recipe. We upped the amount of cornflakes to 75 grams. Other than that, we left the base recipe the same. We baked cookies as one large sheet. To do this, we evenly spooned 12 spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let the masses come together. When the cornflakes cracklings emerged out of the oven, we had one large sheet. We let the cornflakes cool. When they were cool and crunchy, we dusted the top with pulverized freeze-dried strawberries. Then we broke the large sheet into bite-size crackling pieces. Cornflakes and strawberries together again.
