I am constantly searching to experience and create surprise and wonder. I am fascinated with the how did they do that. I am equally confounded by the ongoing why did they do that?
In either scenario someone needed to observe and then create.
Seeing the situation differently and asking the first question shows the potential and possibility. From there, it becomes a waterfall of ideas.
Without the people seeing the world differently, observing and asking these first either apparently obvious or outrageous questions we would not have the creations we admire and rely upon.
In contrast, because ideas spread so quickly now many first questions are merely copied without any foundational support. What do I mean? We see what someone else has done and try to replicate it without knowing why they got to asking the question in the first place. What was their spark or aha moment? What turned their head so they saw something differently and needed to ask what if?
