There is so much I want to do with the idea of A Baker’s Dozen. Twenty five years ago, the influential cookbook, The Baker’s Dozen Cookbook, was published. It is a concentrated collection of recipes, techniques, stories and experiences by magnificent bakers. It is the benchmark for me. It’s my foundational experience to the greatness of what a bakers dozen can be.
And a reminder to the magic of the number 13.
